Does it actually submit applications?

Yes. With an active plan or an application credit, the agent can complete and submit applications on Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, and SmartRecruiters. Other platforms in the job feed may require you to apply directly. The walkthrough above is an illustration. Your account also has a separate simulated preview, which sends nothing.

What do I get for free?

New accounts receive one application credit with no card required. A credit unlocks one real application attempt. You can also explore your job feed and sample application previews. A submission attempt uses the credit even if final confirmation is unavailable; applications that fail before a submission attempt can have the credit returned.

Who is Paperwork for?

We focus on software engineers looking for US roles, including data, machine learning, security, and adjacent roles such as solutions and sales engineering. Available matches depend on your experience, preferences, and current openings.

Will it apply to jobs I wouldn’t want?

The search uses your profile and preferences to find relevant roles. Automatic mode can start applications without a separate approval for every job. Check your settings before turning it on, review your queue, and pause when you need to adjust your search.

Can I see what it writes?

You can inspect recorded application details and steps in your history. The agent uses your saved profile to answer questions. Keep that profile accurate, and review anything marked as needing your attention. The free simulated preview uses sample wording; it is not a recording of the paid agent.

How is my information used?

Your resume, profile, and preferences are used to find roles and fill applications. When an application is submitted, the employer and its hiring platform receive the information needed for that application. Your application history is private to your account; sharing a public receipt is optional.

Will a Sprint renew automatically?

No. The 30-day and 90-day Sprints are one-time purchases and expire at the end of their access period. Always-On is a separate monthly subscription that renews until canceled. You can manage billing from your profile.

Does this guarantee interviews?

No. Paperwork handles the application work. Employers decide who to interview and hire. A successful submission confirms that an application went through, not that it has been reviewed or will receive a reply.
